These classes can be tailor made to your interest. Typically they would focus on a particular type of arrangement such as a hand-tied bouquet, a table centrepiece, table runner, bridal hair flowers, large scale arrangement or similar. We will be using seasonally available flowers and foliages, wild ingredients with beautiful ribbons, vessels and both traditional and more natural floristry techniques will be demonstrated. During the class you will learn about structure, colour palette, seasonal ingredients for both market and garden flowers and how to best use them in any particular arrangement. You will be guided through the design process step-by-step and after the session you can take home your own beautiful creations. These classes are suitable for people with all levels of experience interested in floristry, those with an interest in creating and styling particular floral settings and floral photography.
Styling advice will be given throughout the session. Bring your camera to document the day.
Classes are held north of Brighton with easy access by train from London. Sessions typically run from 10am-2pm.
Price: £300 including all ingredients and light refreshments throughout the day.

Come and join us for a natural winter wreath class this season. We will be gathering at the barn in Stoneywish Nature Reserve in Sussex for a morning of festive Christmas wreath making.
You will learn how to make a traditional moss-based wreath in a natural form using seasonal foliages, hedgerow pickings, dried flowers, ferns, fruits, fir cones, grasses, seedpods. Fresh flowers and other more unusual ingredients such as air plants and succulents will also be available for those wanting to display their wreaths indoors. All wiring techniques and step by step instructions will be demonstrated before you make a start on your own stunning wreath. Beautiful quality ribbons will be available to finish your creations.
This course will enable you to make your own festive wreath year after year. Weather permitting, our session will include a short walk around the grounds to find out what natural ingredients you can collect on your walks in winter and incorporate in your designs.
