ABOUT ME

Bea Andrews, founder of Botanika

Floral Designer/Gardener/Grower

Horticulturist by heart, I have been working with plants and flowers for over twenty years, but using them in floral displays has opened up a whole new world that I am still passionately exploring. A few years ago whilst working as Head Gardener with Sarah Raven at her Sussex farm/flower garden, Perch Hill, I was lucky to have the opportunity to indulge my enthusiasm for growing a wide variety of flowers and experimenting with design. At my own wedding party at the farm, the marquee and surrounding areas were decorated with beautiful blooms that we grew in the garden.

Through several different floral commissions I discovered the art and creativity that goes with styling flowers and the great excitement and joy I share through each floral journey with brides and clients. Setting up Botanika was a natural progression born out of these wonderful experiences. With the florist and design skills learned over the years, I have developed a unique style that is constantly evolving and very much influenced by the current renaissance of more natural floral designs.

OUR FLOWERS

Seasonal, local and sustainable

We recognise how locally sourced ingredients are as important to our clients as they are to us. Your floral display will reflect this, incorporating British grown flowers and foliage at every opportunity. Our flowers and foliages come from carefully selected flower growers, supplemented by a selection of our own home grown blooms.
